Survive inside a shopping center maze

Scp 3008 Infinity Survivor is a free action video game wherein you must survive inside a dangerous shopping center. Developed by HelpStudio, this 3D survival horror game is based on a fiction story from the lore of the popular SCP Foundation website. This game looks to be the mobile port of the PC game, SCP-3008: Lone Survivor, but it’s actually not and is just a mobile copycat that doesn’t offer much of its fun gameplay.

The mobile experience

The SCP Foundation is an online community-based collaborative-fiction project that documents a fictional secret organization of the same name. This Foundation is tasked with locating and containing individuals, entities, locations, objects, and phenomena that defy the natural law—colloquially known as “SCPs.” The entire premise of the SCP Foundation hinges on the necessity to hide these SCPs, as they could pose a direct threat to humanity’s life and perception of reality.

The popularity of the site eventually spawned various fangames to honor fan-favorite SCPs. One of these is SCP-3008, a large retail store that strangely traps unaware customers into a difficult maze filled with humanoid creatures that go berserk once the store’s closing time arrives. The game to make this interesting SCP a reality was SCP-3008: Lone Survivor, developed by Thaumiel Games. Here, you play as someone who got inside and must now barricade yourself against the monsters.

In Scp 3008 Infinity Survivor, the premise is the same. In fact, the graphics and gameplay are similar—although the 3D assets are rough—and the audio is straight-out the very same from Lone Survivor. However, this mobile game isn’t a port of the PC title as it has glaring issues that show it’s just another rip-off. For one, you can only create a fort and not make any weapons from items. The night section isn’t scary, either.

Nothing really special

Scp 3008 Infinity Survivor is another free SCP game you can try out if you’re bored but it’s not the mobile port that SCP-3008: Lone Survivor deserves. The only things you can really do are collecting furniture for your fort and exploring around. The night defense gameplay isn’t riveting, the graphics look cheap, and ads will constantly play every time you’re in the menu.

PROS

  • Free
  • Mostly-similar gameplay to SCP-3008: Lone Survivor

CONS

  • Cheap-looking graphics
  • The night section isn’t scary
  • Intrusive ads
  • Picking up furniture blocks your view
