SCP 300‪8—also known as Scp 3008 Infinity Survivor—is a free action video game wherein you must survive inside a dangerous version of an IKEA store. Developed by Ruslan Visaitov, this is a 3D survival horror game that’s based on a fiction story from the popular SCP Foundation website. While it looks highly similar to another game called Lone Survivor, it is not made by the same developer.

On the mobile side

As far as fiction projects go, the SCP Foundation is one of the most popular in the supernatural horror genre. It is an online community-based collaborative-fiction project that documents a fictional secret organization of the same name, which locates and contains individuals, entities, locations, objects, and phenomena that defy the natural law—better known as “SCPs.” It’s the Foundation’s job to capture and hide these entities away to protect the world.

The site’s fandom created different fan media to showcase their favorite SCPs. One of the most popular is SCP-3008, which is a regular-looking IKEA retail store that traps customers inside a repeating maze. Once the closing time comes, the roaming faceless staff will become aggressive towards anyone they find. This story became the premise for SCP-3008: Lone Survivor, a 3D survival horror game developed by Thaumiel Games. You need to survive each night and find the exit.

However, this is also the same concept and gameplay for SCP 3008 by Ruslan Visaitov. Take note that this is neither the mobile version of Lone Survivor nor is Lone Survivor the PC version of this game, as that one came out earlier—which is why this is considered a cheap copycat. The 3D assets are the same but rougher-looking. You can’t craft weapons or items. Plus, the night defense section doesn’t feel intimidating.

Not much originality

Overall, SCP 3008 is a decent enough free game if you want SCP fangames but it doesn’t really have much meat in its features. Not only does its gameplay lacks the substance that’s required in such a survival game, but it also doesn’t try to be original in its execution and will even bother you with ads. If you want a proper SCP-3008, it’s recommended to go for SCP-3008: Lone Survivor instead.
